Dear Mrs/Ms,
I am interested in the internship program in the Travel Department of your company in West Hollywood, as presented on the indeed.com website. My main focus in the past few years has been to take on opportunities to reveal and enhance my organization, communication and marketing skills. Since these skills are required for this vacancy's main tasks, I consider this job the ideal chance for me to combine career objectives with work and the digital marketing, communication, planning, promotion, and product development experience I have gained over the past few years.
As a Tourism Management student, I gained great attributes required for the vacancy you offer, such as responsibility, interpersonal sensitivity, reliability, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, prioritizing, stress tolerance skills, cross-cultural awareness, self-reliance and teamwork. For example, I, together with a team, work with commissioning clients such as Landal GreenParks and IVN every semester to help them solve current and potential problems in their companies.
I am confident that I will add significant value to your team as I have multi-tasking abilities, a strong interest in culture and storytelling. I always keep myself informed about the latest trends and events worldwide. My work ethic and ideal project schedule are divided by deadlines. I find them the perfect tool when planning new events as they give an excellent overview of the project and help following the necessary steps. I think I can be of additional value to your company because of my Romanian background and the fact that I have worked and studied with many people from different nationalities. I am studying in The Netherlands, and I had jobs related to leisure and hospitality in both countries I lived. I gained lots of experience in customer service and cultural differences.
